Hey there! I’m Misadie, the heart and hands behind Sadie’s Pest Defense.

If you told me 13 years ago that I’d fall in love with pest control, I probably wouldn’t have believed you — but here I am, and I wouldn’t change a thing. My journey started while working for the government, and in 2012, life led me into the world of pest control. What began as just a job quickly became my passion.

Today, I’m proud to be one of the few Black women owners of a pest control company in Georgia — and even in the nation. That’s something I hold close to my heart, not just for myself, but for others who dream big and work hard to make it happen.

What truly keeps me going are the relationships I’ve built along the way. My customers and their families mean everything to me. I take pride in being punctual, dependable, understanding, and always willing to go the extra mile.

Pest control has changed my life for the better — it’s given me purpose, connection, and the joy of helping people feel safe and comfortable in their homes. And I’m grateful every single day for that.
